Abstract

The addition of a solution of excess K(SCN) to an aqueous solution containing Cu(NO3)2·6H2O and 1,3-bis(amino)-2-propanol (bdapH) yields a novel 2D mixed CuI–CuII complex; X-ray diffraction and magnetic studies are reported herein.
