Abstract

Mixed spinel hydrophobic ZnxFe1−xO·Fe2O3 (up to x = 0.34) nanoparticles encapsulated in polymeric micelles exhibited increased T2 relaxivity and sensitivity of detection over clinically used Feridex®.
