Abstract

Stereoregular poly(methyl methacrylate) with a clickable CC ω-end by a Michael-addition type thiol–ene reaction was synthesized through an anion terminating reaction with α-(halomethyl)acrylates. The thiol–ene click reaction at the ω-end provided various ω-functional polymers quantitatively.
