Abstract

Superhydrophobic TiO2 nano-strawberry rutile films, on which superhydrophobicity and superhydrophilicity can be reversibly switched by alternation of ultraviolet (UV) irradiation and dark storage, were fabricated on a large scale from aqueous solution via a seeded growth method at low temperature without any pressure equipment.
