Abstract

Treatment of the β-diketimine HL with successively LiBun and PCl2Ph gave the first C–centered monodentate β-diketiminate PCl(Ph)L 1; with C8K 1 underwent reductive dechlorination yielding 2, a novel N–PIII–PIII–CC heterocycle.
