Product Description
It is mainly used as a gasoline octane number improver and refrigerant, and also serves as standard gas and for the preparation of specialty standard mixed gases.
Isobutane is a colorless flammable gas at normal temperature and atmospheric pressure. It is non-toxic but narcotic, and easy to liquefy. Its saturated vapor pressure is 310 kPa at 21.1 °C. It is primarily applied in instrument calibration, raw materials for aviation fuel, and raw materials for organic compound synthesis.
